Outcome: A Capsule Collection & Runway Show.
The Concept:
For the designers of the future. The Atelier moves students away from "crafts" and into the business of fashion. Associates learn to build a brand identity, sketch professional croquis, and construct garments using sewing machines and textiles, culminating in a live showcase of their work.
The Journey:
Term 1 (The House): Brand identity, mood boards, textile theory, and design sketching.
Term 2 (The Construction): Pattern cutting, pinning, machine sewing, and garment assembly.
Term 3 (The Runway): Fitting, styling, photography, and the final runway presentation.
